I would strongly recommend their beef 'horfun' <3
The beef is sliced generously and ohsotender! The overall 'char-ed' taste is just right for me. Best hor fun I had ^~^

I still have 30+ drafts to clear zzz! Will get down to it after replacing my laptop. The motherboard's fried. Boo!

Pizza Hut - Parchment Pasta

Pizza Hut (Ang Mo Kio)

715 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6, #01-4000
Tel: 6451 4362

I have to say, the parchment pasta idea is intriguing enough to render me a visit to Pizza Hut. The idea of unwrapping present pasta makes me excited XD

Spicy Seafood Parchment

It's a little too spicy for me to handle. The singular prawn and squid are too dry. This En Papillote thing is just not working for me.

Char-Grilled Chicken Parchment

This was so much better than the previous! When I opened it(the pasta) up, the char-grilled chicken worked it's mojo. The welcoming aroma poofed up my nose, boosted with garlics no less. The chicken were moist and tender. I particularly love it with the spaghetti in satiny smooth cream sauce. Perhaps the the En Papillote thing only fails to work with seafood?

After dinner, le boyfriend & I hopped over to McCafĂ© for their Double Chocolate FrappĂ©. I believe back then there was this 'flash e-coupon to enjoy a few bucks off' promo. I rarely miss McDees' 1-for-1 deal thanks to this useful site I check back on a daily basis:

Monstrous pile of pasta

More food pics today eheheeeh
Except that these are not taken at restaurants but my own kitchen! Yes, I cooked! (X

Slammed everything I like on top of that monstrous pile of pasta wahahaa!
Thick slabs of fresh tomatoes, spoonful(s) of sweet corns, and an egg in the middle. <3 !!

After the showcase of that very indecent meal I cooked up, here's pics from Ajisen. hehs.
A new ramen on their menu! Say hello to a whole ika(squid), yo! WHAO mega love!

P.S. Screw my homecooking :x

Everything with Fries

Everything With Fries (Holland Village)
40 Lorong Mambong, Holland Village
Tel: 6463 3741

The restaurant is decorated with a minimalistic, black and white theme. I would love to take the seat at the second level as it grants view of the whole restaurant, sadly the seats are all taken.

Having a relatively hard time with the menu. Their fries comes in so many different flavors, I wanna try everything! niam!

One Egg Soup $3.90

Was intrigued by the name and thus ordered a portion to share with Suki. It was literally a One Egg Soup, only a single egg is used for this unique soup. Fried egg white atop chicken broth with the yolk mixed in. The soup served was a little runny which is funny because I expected it to be thicker with the aid of the yolk. It's interesting to try, but I might not order it again.

Lamb burger with curry fries and ceaser salad

I had asked the waiter for a recommendation as I couldn't make up my mind. But the waiter's recommendation of cheeseburger was promptly rejected as I hastily decide on a lamb burger. #troublemakerme

Tandoori Chicken Sandwich w curry fries and coleslaw $10.90

The serving is HUGH! Who would have guessed that a 'sandwich' dish would be more filling than a 'burger' dish lol. You would expect that with a name like "Everything with Fries", the fries would be the main feature of the restaurant. All mains comes with fries in an explosive variety of flavors to choose from. We both had the curry fries which is a little disappointing as I had expected something like a cheesedip, only replaced with curry. It's very much like Mcdees' shaker fries except that the fries comes in larger cuts. There's much potatoes left at the end of the meal no thanks to the enormous amount of fries and excessive seasoning.

Overall, Everything with Fries is a nice place to chill(so long as you do not have very demanding palates), with a pocket friendly menu.

Sanomaru - Ramen Salad

Sanomaru Sapporo Ramen (TripleOne Somerset)

111 Somerset Road, #02-15 TripleOne Somerset
Tel: +65 6235 7360

Salmon ramen salad

With the thick slabs of fresh salmon and a handful of ramen, it's more of a salad ramen than a ramen salad to me, satisfyingly so. I hope I'm not confusing anyone here hahaa. Okay so, we can choose to have either wafu or sesame sauce to go along with it and my friend chose the latter. Sesame goes exceedingly well with raw salmon. ^~^ The chewy ramen really gave me a surprise there, it's even more al dente than most of the pasta I've ever had! Hontou ni! (Y) My bf's a fan of anything al dente, so I made a mental note right there and then to bring him there someday hees.

Char shu ramen salad

I had the char shu ramen salad that day as I was feeling a little.. carnivorous? hahaa I needed meat, robust pieces of meeeeeeeeat! After pairing each mouthful of ramen with the flavourful savory char shu, I still have much of the char shu left! Sanomaru's really generous with their servings. Thumbs up! I chose the wafu sauce to go along, which is on the saltish side & I also tasted a tinge of wasabi in it. I usually hate wasabi but in this case where it's not so overpowering, I actually enjoyed the mild kick. Amazed myself there.

I actually like Sanomaru's ramen salad than the usual soup ramen. It's a nice change, those who're keen would have to place a special order for it tho, since it's not featured in the menu. Price should be around $12 I think, which is really really worth it. Also, as one would expects from the japanese, the service at Sanomaru was really professional. The staffs are polite, full of smiles and very helpful. I had a really pleasant time (:
