yx is rushing her fyp(final year proj) but she's kind enough to spare me some time for a dinner near my workplace! No matter how busy a person is, one still needs to eat right? hahaa

We tried the cheapest pork okonomiyaki. $3+ only for sucha hugh serving! Diameter's two palms wide? (:
Bigger than I expected, but pork wasn't generous. There's barely any. ohwels

 

An additional order of the tofu mentaiko cheese for me.
Baked tofu drenched with saled cod roe mixed with cheese.

I love all things cheesy(except dialogue) and mentaiko so no negative comments from me!
Tho I thought this dish could be much less oily :x

Actually it's just one of the nicer dinner I've had in a long time. I'm so glad I brought my camera along & I'm sharing the dellish pictures here with everyone (:

 

This mango roll/maki is really good, the mango is sweet, the prawn is hot, everything is right (:

 

The beef steak which came as a dsappointment to me. It's like teryaki chicken, sweet and all, only it's beef. The texture feels wrong to me, still very much prefer medium raw steak. Guess I'll never order any 'beef steak' in any japanese restaurants anymore :/

 

Prawn tempura, me likes! Batter is light & doesn't feel cloyingly oily (: wish that the prawns are bigger tho!

 

Salmon belly sashimi

But I've to consume it real quite, somehow sashimi at the restaurant became damn stale after a few minutes, Other restaurants' last much longer..

 

Way too salty, & that egg? Damn fail, this dish definitely couldn't be ramen in any sense.

Ordered the enoki niku maki teppanyaki thingy because it looks like fun, cooking your own food over a mini stove hahaa

 

We can never miss this no matter how bloated our stomach ar #obsessed

 

Soft shell crab. Soooooo tiny omg, not enjoyable at all. All I taste is oil.. I know soft shell crab have minimal meat but this is really bad ):

 

Salmon blahblah salad to end the day. The whole dish is too raw for my liking. lol pun unintended.

 

Overall, there's hits and misses.
The restaurant is now taken over by Nihon Mura I think. Will definitely go back again to try out the new menu!
