Express Rotary Hotpot

Dinner with the family on a weekend! When it comes to steamboat/hotpot, it's usually those roadside/no air conditioning kinds but this time round, we decided to try something a little special.

We were attracted to Kichi Kichi Express Rotary - their sauces are home-made they have an array of six soup bases to boost!

Like most conventional stoves, the hotpot is placed on this flat surface and it does the cooking for you without fire.

Constant stream of food and sauces on the belt ●▽●

We had herbal and chicken stock I think?

You can choose to topup a few bucks for premium items such as scallops and wagyu beef!

Flower crab, damn sweet and fresh yays!

I LOVE POACHED EGGS but this is the closest I get to cooking my own. Ikr I should really start watching some youtube tutorials lol

Their own bottled water which I appreciates because there's a child with us. Restaurants usually serves you tap water :/

Kichi kichi sesame sauce is so good!  It goes well with EVERYTHING, especially beef~ niam~

Individual hotpots ftw! Super considerate of Kichi Kichi. I can now have dinner w friends who can't take beef or spiciness. We can still be chatting next to each other. Ohwees! I'll feel shortchanged if I do not get my fair portion of beef for steamboats/hotpots hahaa >ω<

いとこと一日の出

Photobucket

Met up with the cousin after so so so sooooooo long!
Trained to Far East Plaza, talked alot on the trip to town hehee.

Do we look alike??

We've got different build, my attitude's as cool as she is warm. She looks more like her dad, and I mine.

P.S. Doesn't she look like POKEMON'S SQUIRTLE?! I've always thought so! hahahahaa ♥ my chibi couz

A comforting bowl of Oyster Meesua to kickstart a day of shopping! (:
Steering from the usual Beer battered fish, swayed by Hazel, we got the calamari from 'Chippy British Takeaway'. and gawd was it bad! I couldn't make out the pitiably sliced pieces of squid from that oh-so-hard-it-hurts-my-gum batter..
Hazel said they used to do it much much better tho. ohwels.

Walk walk walk, shop shop shop, spend spend spend, rest rest rest.

My ever-favourite 13inches wedges! <3

Decked on my silver collection of accessories!

Last trip: Daiso
Bought snacks, diy pudding, hairband, tokyo noodle, and even an aloe vera makeup remover!

The makeup remover smells really nice! But it doesn't cleanse all that well so it's best to use a proper makeup remover afterwards still.

hahahaa my 'fake' phone case! xD

Late supper at Bukit Gombak prata shop before bidding goodbye for the day. The cheese pasta is insanely addictive! Mozarella cheese yow! Must try if you're near Gombak area! CIAOS (ヾ(´・ω・`)

TzeChar

I love japanese, italian cuisine.
But I have seen someone with too much passion for Tzechar - a stall with a dominating selection of chinese cuisine in almost all hawker centres. My bf even consider it to be 'godly'... wtf i know. I thought he was kidding but he really does means that. ><!

Medical Checkup

Time rocketed by!

It's almost been a year since I secured this job. I got some pics to share from orientation last year! ☆ミ(o*・ω・)ノ

Was briefed on the company's profile, safety precautions & blablahs. It's a 2 days orentation so we get to tour around the yard on the second day. It's damn big and impressive! Those vessels are the most GIGANTIC thing I've ever set eyes on - I went WAHHHHHH!
A shipyard's like a mini city on its own, cool!

Body checkup after office hours @ SATA Jurong outlet

Changed and getting ready for X-ray

I LOVE JOB INTERVIEWS!

They're like so exciting canxz! Cuz it makes you all jittery and nervous hehs! But after each and every interview, it helps me express myself more.

I am a soft spoken person through and through. I would rather starve than order food outside, However, whenever I'm at an interview, the more confident self of mine came out. It's like a complete change of personality. I really do hope I'll grow out of the timid me one day. That could be another reason why I love going for interviews too (:

Since I just cleared my body checkup, ordered a rewarding portion of fried chicken cutlet for dinz! -^^-

Subway

I should be sleeping over at a friend's house now, but here I am - In my own kitchen, blogging beside a plate of stir fried beef -.- all because I slept for 18 hours straight.. awman I didn't know I was so tired!

The boy used to work at Subway as a sandwich artist(hahaa so creative!) and he would always skip his lunch and pack a 6-inches sub/wrap with double meat & triple cheese for me - pure bliss! hehee It isn't allowed btw, but he did it all the same. xoxo!

My sis worked as a Crabtree&Evelyn Promoter for an event and on the last day she took like.. a whole BUNDLE of these carrier home! Need you be so kiasu anot?! Lol

Cold cut on parmesan oregano w double choco cookies! My second fav combi ^^

I promised myself to blog more diligently for the whole of this week. So let's see if I'm the type of person who can make or break a promise just as easily! ><
