Spicy seafood pasta

Bad choice there. Seafood was a little on the dry side, I know should've requested spaghetti. The a little under al dente linguine was a disaster. Plus I didn't know that Spicy pasta doesn't comes with any fragrance, except being overpowering spicy. Why, of course.

 

Carbonara Pasta

Not much to comment on, except that it was on the bland side, and when I order carbonara, I expect to be spoilt & forget how much calories I'll take for the day. Cafe Cartel's pasta was disappointing. The hugh portion was the only one thing I appreciates.

 

Crispy Pork Chop w ith Rodeo Sauce

Again, HUGH portion(just refer to below pic!), I liked this way better than the pasta! Btw, for those of you who're curious, the rodeo sauce is a lot like mcdee's barbeque sauce. A lil spicy, sweet, sour, intense.

Gmarket is convenience at its best, housing an absurd array of items all ready to be shipped straight to your residence, from household goods, gadgets, to cosmetics even. However, in my case, Gmarket Singapore is still lacking in the fashion departments. I've bought my fair share of footwear from Gmarket Korea, the variety is on a whole different level. Totally! Quality for apparels sucks ttm as well zzz..

Char Shu ramen, miso and shio respectively.

The miso ramen was real gooooood, buttery and robust, smoothly so. Shio ramen's broth was good too, great for people who prefers them lighter. Both broths' are salty, drinkable but impossible to down the whole bowl. Trust me, I tried. But for every mouthful that I can take, I was in heaven <3

Highlight of the night, the char shu is what I will and have actually returned for. The char shu was absolutely delish, with a marbling layer of fats, it goes incredibly well with the rich broth. mmmmmm It was so good, I want a piece now! One generously sliced good char shu triumphs over three pieces of dry char shu anyday. (:

My newest loots! Pretty I.Fairy and Kimchi lenses ^~^

Bf forbids me to wear these lenses bought online. They're unsafe, he says. Ironically, EOS lenses are the most comfortable cosmetics lenses I've ever worn, and I swear by it.

Ohwels, it's sucha waste to throw these pretty lenses away, guess I'll just keep them till I change the bf's mind :/ FYI, when unopen, these lenses can be kept for up to three years. tata!

 

Freshness Burger

I've always always wanted to try Freshness Burger ever since it came to Singapore!
Especially since I've read soooo many positive reviews about their Burger!
So yay! I just got my Freshness Burger Experience Card, & had bf coming along for redemption hehee

Was at Woodlands' Causeway Point outlet cuz it's nearer to my house ^~^

 

Other than the usual condiments like ketchup and chilli sauce, there's also mustard and tobasco! (Y)

I had wanted Avocado salad but it isn't available so I got the Freshness Salad instead. Was kindda disappointed, I love avocado )'; The freshness salad was alright tho.

Oh yeah, the pineapple soda is damn great! It's one gassy drink I don't think I'll ever get enough of. hahs, Don't shy away just cus it's p-i-n-e-a-p-p-l-e, the soda really isn't sour at all. (:

 

Classic Cheese Burger

This is ohsojuicy omg.. Mcdees' can't even compare! With the thickly sliced tomato, lightly caramelized thick-cut onion and the really soft & fluffy bun, I'm glad to recommend it to everyone as my favourite burger! Plus it's super healthy too (:

 

Chicken Katsu burger

It's the only one thing we dislike this evening. 70% of the burger's made of crust and fats.. The crust was good actually, not as oily as I thought it'll be but the ratio of fats to meat is way too high.. Even with the hugh amount of greens which I must mention is crisp & fresh, I wouldn't say it would make a healthy meal. It's also quite gross to sink your teeth into fats almost every other bite ><! We didn't couldn't finish it.

Overall, I like Freshness Burger much much more than MOS Burger ^~^ Just try to avoid the chicken katsu burger kays!

Aoba Hokkaido Ramen

I was at ION the other day, with my ramen khaki, and having a craving for what else but ramen, so Aoba Hokkaido Ramen for dindinz it is! Hahaa!

 

Up up upz to the ambience with these ornaments! The queue was alright for a bustling saturday in town, around 10 minutes wait?

Shio(salt based) ramen for me & Shoyu ramen for yx. They are so stingy with the ingredients zomg! Just look at my untouched ramen(second pic)... The presentation & serving are like so mehhhhhhh >(
