What's attractive to me about teppanyaki is that my food is prepared 'live' right before my eyes. I find that fascinating hahaa. Although its interesting to watch, the sizzling could post a little problem so its best to request for a napkin(?) while you watch on, especially for kids.^^ Since the flat griddle is soooo close~

Beef roll

I tasted, enoki mushrooms, onion and carrots maybe? This is very well seasoned and medium cooked to my preference. I savoured every bite of it. Recommended!

The salad, beansprouts, miso soup and condinents that comes along for a set.

The is the best ending possible to a meal. The thick toast absorbed the essence and juices so this is like a bread soaked with really good savory jam. yums! （　´∀｀）

My sister have been urging me to give Hot Tomato a try after her first visit there. According to her, the steak is GIGANTIC.
I am a carnivore through and through. I love meat, and beef's on the top of my list.
So having heard her constant ravings and also hypnotized by her exaggerated outlining the steak in thin air, I planned for a dinner date with beloved yx. My steak & ramen lover buddy <3

I had asked for medium and it's a medium cooked steak I shall have! I was not disappointed. More often than not, my steak was served overcooked at some other places ): So I have this habit of ordering medium rare steaks but the chefs at Hot Tomato really do know what they're doing! I did a research before heading down and had been assured by netizens that the chefs know how to handle their meat^^

 

I opted for a complete set at a top-up of $3.50 - w Garlic bread, Soup, Drink

I had a glass of iced lime juice and I think that's minestrone there.
While I love the steak, the soup & lime juice & salad nearly had me K.Oed. @_@
Mygawd they were crazy sour!!

Hong Kong/Cantonese-style crispy noodles served in a hot seafood gravy.

 

Signature Samsui Ginger Chicken

Armed with coupons, I headed down to Clementi mall for Soup Restaurants' Signature dish! If you've been reading my blog for a while, you would have heard me mentioning meal coupons times and again. Bf's mom is known as 'Coupon Queen' among her friends because of the stacks of Mcdees, kfc etc coupons she brings home. So my bf's always making fun of me, and tagged me 'Coupon Princess' lol!

Back to the chicken! Other than the delicately presented chicken, it's also served with fresh ice berg lettuce. The combi of the lettuce, chicken, and ginger's a winner! It was madly raved about online, but I had to say I've had better samsui ginger chicken. However, with the numerous outlets in Singpore, it's accessible and good enough for your occasional hakka dish fix.

 

 

Kraze Burgers (Liang Court)

'Kraze Burgers’ was established in 1998 located at Apgujeong-dong of South Korea. I haven't even tried tteokbokki yet I am already excited for some korean burgers hahaa. Plus I'd never tried any premium burger before and Kraze burger is one such restaurant specialized in providing premium hamburgers. According to online sources, they were the first to offer premium hamburgers as well.

  

A cozy interior. It's a fast food chain afterall so you can expect the tables' positioning to be a little cramped. If I'm not wrong, they serves beer too?

 

Cajun chicken salad

A tender Cajun crispy chicken with mixed vegetables, bean sprout, cherry tomato Parmesan cheese, tossed in Kraze’s special sweet and sour dressing.

Hazel wanted something light so she ordered salad, turn out this dish is anything but light. lol girl why you no see properly!
I think Kraze Burgers is not just all about dedicating themselves to making the best burgers, they have concern for customers' health too. You can totally tell seeing that mountain of fresh veg as sides! But I think it's a little too raw and bitter for Singaporean's taste though.

 

Semi nude

2 X beef patty, 2slices of cheese, fresh garden salad, grilled sun ripetomato, grilled onion, Bacon, kraze dressing, sunny side up(egg) on top

I ordered a Semi Nude (oops!). This is the epitome of burgers without the buns! 2 beef patty, bacon, and 2 different types of cheese! I am delightfully satisfied! Both visually and physically  o(^^o)

I thought I'd never patronise Cafe Cartel again when they decided to end their free flow bread practice, but I find myself queueing up when I had one of those massive craving for carbonara pasta. Guess Cafe Cartel's still the place to go for generous amount of sinful(bacons!) carbonara to satisfy my insatiable appetite! （￣ー￣）

Bf's been complaining how little I mention him in my blog.
He especially emphasized on how I can always omit him in my posts even though he's my date. lolol

It's not that I did that intentionally to portray a 'I'm single' image, I'm just not v comfortable with sharing intimate photos even on my own blog. I hasn't thought that that mindless act of mine would make him sad. I;m sorry baby >< But since the boy purposefully brought it up...

I looked forward to it so much! Just look at the number of selcas I took for proof! XD

Notice that there's no udon? Meh! Was I disappointed when I was told the restaurant ran out of udon! I felt like a child who has just received allowance to buy my favourite toy, ran ten miles only to be greeted by a closed store. )';

Seeing how down I was, le bf shared his fried chicken with me, I also have the unatama don & chawanmushi to myself.
I love mentaiko, but I love my bf so much more mwahmwah! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

 

I opted for soba in place of udon. Bad move man, baddddd man!
Soba in thick broth is an epic fail combi. It's so bad that I can't even finish the soba.
I always, without fail, finish my food thanks to the fugal upbringing my mum beat into me. <3 

I hasn't wished to contradict myself, please understand that the photo is taken before I tucked in >n<! 

But please also understand that this doesn't mean that the food at the restaurant is bad.. Like I mentioned, I actually love the udon v v much! I even did a post full of praise for them.
