The previous worst quake(8.3-magnitude) killed 143,000. While the earthquake is more serious this time, I sincerely hope it won't take so much people with it once more.
Let's all pray for Japan and wish for it's people to be well.
A tsunami Alert is triggered for New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii, and others.
Waves expected should have reached the above countries by now, I'm not sure how the countries are doing right now, It's kinda difficult for me to follow through the news. But since a warning is given earlier, the people should have ample time to evacuate(I hope). I'm sure the authorities will do their best to keep casualties to the minimum, hopefully none at all.
God bless them all
