Bei Shang Chuan Steamboat

Wah this restaurant got award sial.. must visit rightrightright!
I also want to eat whatever the gourmets tried! Not Kiasu kays! Is human nature! If I can afford then why not!? *defensive*

Fyi, Bei Shang Chuan Steamboat is just a turn into a narrow corridor on the rght of Daiso@Vivo, keep walking & you'll spot it. Just in case you have as much trouble spotting it as we did.

The beef are the pretty best damn thing at the restaurant alr. Read on to see why I said that!

Looks like Shark's fin soup but it's not.
It tastes nothing like shark's fin soup at all, instead the soup has a very strong szechuan accent to it.

 

Soup base: Laksa & Chicken respectively

 

The laksa base is very very nice!
But it became gluey after some time & super salty it killed me :x

 

Any idea what this is?
Clue: Something to gross you out with..

It's an eyeball of a fish!!

Because it's so stale, it's as bad as it looks.
& no, I didn't take a single bite, because my nose warned me against it. 
Even the laksa soup isn't strong enough to cover the overpowering pungent smell. yucks D<

Usually I don't take fruits, much less during buffets.
But the seafood was so bad, I had to have some watermelon to feel better )x

 

Gahhhh.. the desserts are boring.

 

Due to the limited choices, 80% of the seafood are stale as well, we took lots of this.
I feel indigified, like I threw my money away ):
