Astons Specialties

Second time at Astons Specialties(The Cathay) even tho it's one of my fav restaurants! hahs.
I'm not a big fan of their floor planning hmph. Tables are arranged too closely it's uncomfortable & difficult to talk because it's too noisy & for obvious privacy reasons.

Keep a look out for their 'notice board'! They'll update on interesting dishes or promotion every now & then.
Too bad I don't have the extra moolah to enjoy a wagyu burger for lunch )':

 

Cream of mushroom with garlic bread

 

Really thick + creamy indeed! & very mushroomy! lol
The mushroom taste is very strong, fragrant, but not overpowering. Tho it might be a little too creamy for some people. But that's how I like my soup -^^-

 

This should be ' Grill fish with herb' if I'm not mistaken.

 

This is my Chargrill Chicken with the two sidedishes I've selected for myself.
Mashed potato & pasta salad.

 

It's a shame the presentation of the food was much better the previous time I patronised Astons.

Spicy Chicken spaghetti

Wah highhh~ a whole chicken chop was used unlike elsewhere! (:

 

There's something bout the spaghetti which both of us absolutely dislike tho!

 

ZOMG so much oil!
Just looking at the finished dish makes my heart complain in dismay. It's like my heart is coated with a layer of oil after the meal ><!

 

Overall, affordable for a (supposedly) 3 person meal.
NOTE* no service charge!
