At Sembawang God of Fortune temple to pray for wealth(obviously) & health!

 

Random. This thing is parked next to the temple. Might have some shows available at night? Like you know those operas that mainly old people watch? There are youngster still interested in the art out there but not many la. For me, I cannot understand at all! Rather watch youtube loh.. haih I'm so unappreciative but no interest = no interest mah. & then we went into the deeper part of the temple to offer and burn incense in prayer.

Simple vegetarian beehoon. Loads of people are there! Like there's a mini concert @@

Zombic Week

Mermaid hair or Maggie mee?

 

I just went through a zombic week.
Slept 4-5 hours per day, working 12hours str8 with an hour lunchtime in between.
Lifeless. & super dao, couldn't even force myself to smile at everybody & play politics :x

ehhhhhs I overslept 3 days & is forced to take cab leh >(
After I started working, I've seen my fair share of cab uncles.

20% - Have the decency to drive you to work with fair/fast speed. 
5% - Tries to talk you into being his regular customer, driving you to & from work daily. Not a bad thing la, but only if I have the moolah to spare.
3% - No idea how to get to your destination. 
The rest - Always have tricks up their sleeves!
There's one time when I close my eyes to take a nap, the speed drop significently! I peek at the road to look for the reason of speed drop & all I got is the uncle peeking back at me to check if I realize that he is deliberately driving slower wtf ==
& as everybody anticipates from drivers, if you didn't state which route you wanna take, you'll end up late for work because the driver goes ONE BIG ROUND. & congrats you spent $20 to be late & be his idiot for the day! woots! *claps* *roll eyes* *mentally bashes said cab driver*

Few weeks ago, I vaguely mentioned having a photoblog.
I've yet to decide whether to share the link or not! I'm less active there already btw. Work and maintaining this blog is taking a toll out of me. My facebook is pretty much stranded yea, ohwels. Best thing happened wednesday when the clock strikes 12, I'm officially off probation! wooooooots~ Will try to save the leave and plan for a holiday around year end? If my dream came true I'll be sure to take alot of pics and shareeeeee! :D ohyeah, do you wanna hear about Aron Ralston, 3 days in a row? yes?

Hey everyone! How's the world treating you?

Bf & I had been catching the real Aron Ralston(from 127 hours) on youtube. A documentary/recount of the desperate days stuck in Blue John Canyon where he thought was his tomb. Nearly. There's audio playing from his camcorder, all the thoughts he'd had, body conditions & his last message to his friends and family when he realize he might not be able to survive.

'Gut-wrenching and inspirational' one of the reviews for the movie. Totally agreed!
Watching the real deal was another thing, he suffered more than shown in the video. That guy's a fighter. He's my hero!

hahaa so this is the first time I've post any picture of myself in glasses. This pair of glasses belonged to Webster from a few years back, it's rusted at some parts.. but whatever!

Aron Ralston can bring himself to ampulate his arm to free himself and escape from the boulder for survival. What's posting a pic of myself in glasses even tho I look silly. (with silly poses too! lol)

It's cold water! Not good for baby so BabyLinz had them rarely. He finished his water within seconds! Kudos! I can never drink water that fast unless after a hardcore session of exercising.

The restaurant itself is air-conditioned, temperature's about 18degree celsius?
What I can confirm is I'm freezing that day but yet I diedie also keep leaning against the storage glass to peek in lol

The sponge cake inside lived up to it's name. It's totally soaked with alcohol! Webster loved it, ordered 3 in a row.
The third portion's paid from his own pocket, he's more than willing to part with $4 for it @@
